The year of 2008 will mark the centenarian of Japanese immigration for Brazil. It would not have, therefore, better occasion to receive events from world-wide dimensions, related to the eastern country, more necessarily in the sportive area: the Panamerican Championship of Karate and the Open International de Karate, both marked for the month of July in the city of São Paulo It does not have doubt of that the two championships will bring much visibility to the modality in the country. This expresive sport and that it counts on practitioners in sets of ten of nations not yet is part of the picture of the Olimpics Games, but certainly possesss the potential to obtain this fact. Our city is of open doors not only for karate, but for all the Sport modalities. We have the full conscience of that the best form of if effecting improvements in our society are with the incentive to the practical one of physical activities, spreading the sportive spirit between all the individuals. |
