The next days from the 2nd to the 6th of July of 2008 in the city of São Paulo - BRAZIL , the greater city of Latin America, it will receive to the best athletes of Karate do of the Pan-American Continent and special guests of the other four continents. It will be celebrated the PAN-AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2008 WUKO and the INTERNATIONAL OPEN OF KARATE WUKO.

The Sport Center "Mauro Pinheiro" of Ibirapuera in São Paulo-Brazil has all the infrastructure for the accomplishment of an event of this magnitude. The sport authorities of the State of São Paulo, the Municipality of São Paulo and the Federal Government will be supporting all necessary so that this Pan-American Championship achieves a great success,

CBKI Brazilian Confederation of Karate Interstyles together to the FPKI - Federation Paulista to Karate Interstyles, will be the ones in charge of the organization of the event. São Paulo already I enter the Guiness Book of the record with the greater event of Karate made in year 1,998 participated about 2.225 competitors. In this occasion we will not be so many competitors, since number limited by country in the event exists um, but, at technical level it will be of the best ones of the world, Brazil and all affiliated his they deserve a Championship of Karate of this greatness.
